Dear Brother,

Your letter of Nov 7, enclosing one to Sis. Clark from her daughter is before me. You can tell Sis Clark that on the 22 of last Sept. I wrote to Elder John Brown, now in charge of the Saints in the Eastern & Southern States to have her daughter searched out by some of the Elders, with instructions to render <her> the necessary aid to bring her to Utah, if she desired to come here. I have not yet heard from bro,
Brown what steps he has taken in the matter, but have no doubt he will do his best to get her out, probably he may bring her to St Louis this fall & forward her to the Valley next spring. At any rate Sis. Clark might write to her daughter & tell her to let br. Brown (whose address is 2006 Nth 14th St. St. Louis) know where she is to be found.
