Salt Lake City,
Dec. 7. 1868.

Elder Jno. Hindley,
Present.

Dear bro:
On the 9th of April last, Prest. H.C. Kimball caused you to be credited with the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350.) on the books of the Trustee in Trust, and obtained from bro. James Jack, Clk, a statement in writing that said amt. was credited to you as aforesaid.

That document has of late been presented by the bookkeeper of Bro Jennings to apply on bro. Jennings' tithing, but the President is somewhat inclined to think that the sum should be applied on your own tithing, and he would like to hear from you and be assured that your own tithing is all paid up, before a transfer of the amt. is made to the credit of bro. Jennings.

Your brother in the Gospel of Peace

T.W. Ellerbeck,
Clk
