Dear Brother:-

Elder Levi W. Hancock before going south, turned over to me as Trustee in trust, a house and lot in Salt Lake City. This lot a man said he thought he would give me 10 or 11.00 Dollars for, But which he failed to do. I have since given the place to Elder Samuel H.B. Smith the son of br Samuel Smith.

I am desirous of helping br. Hancock to get himself a comfortable home with his family at Bennington and shall be pleased to have you supply him with what he requires, as far as you are able to do from the tithing to the amount of Ten or Twelve hundred dollars.
