Salt Lake City,
Decr. 28th 1868.

Friend Kanosh,

I thank you for your letter and good feelings. Keep good peace with the brethren, they are your friends. I am your friend, so is the bishop. I have sent a letter to the Bishop, saying, let Friend Kanosh have a horse or two. I will see Mr Head and tell him that you want a wagon and oxen, and a plow. I will try to have Mr Head send them to you in the Spring.

I am glad you are going to farm in the spring. I hope you will do well and raise a good crop.

The folks are well: we shall be glad to see you when you come to the City. Good peace,

Your Friend,
Brigham Young
