Dear Sir,

H.B. Clawson Esqr. the bearer of this, is on his way to Chicago as my Agent on business requiring immediate attention to forward the work on my railroad contract. A portion of which will be to hasten the forwarding of the two hundred wagons I have ordered of Mr. Schuttler of Chicago, and which my sub-contractors need very much, & are very urgent for, in order to continue work in the valley west of Weber Canon.
