In reply to your favor of the 8th inst. I have to inform you that your father C.M. Drown died in this city in 1859.

Your brother David, at present, resides at Gardner's Mills, West Jordan Ward, Salt Lake Co. in this Territory; a letter addressed to him as above will reach him.
