Dear Sir:-Will you please be so good as inform me whether you are coming into the city soon, and about the prospects for the Cash for November? We are pretty well cornered and hope that you will be able to do something for us without delay, as the men are not to be appeased without the money.

We have not been able to get only $12500.00 as yet on the Dft for $35000. which you gave to B Young jr on the day work on Temporary Line. If you have a copy of the Pay Roll for said work, please refer to extension for CH Wheelock & Blythe & Neff & find they are credited too little
viz Wheelock 443-1/2 days @ $10 only $443.50 error 3991.50
B & Neff 660-1/2 "  " 665.00 " 5940.00
                                    Total  $9931.50

Hoping to hear from you I am
Truly Yours

P.S. I can do but little with NY Exchange  having been unable to Cash <all of> your last remittance of $150.000. yet
