Dear Sir,

I am in receipt of yours of the 30th ult. requesting information of the children of Wm Seely.

There is residing in this City a lady whose maiden name was Lucy Decker, she married a man by the name of Wm Seely: she states that they moved to Missouri, her husband was shot there, but recovered, then returned to Illinois; from thence he went off & she never saw him more, she was very credibly informed of his death. This William Seely has two children residing here, their names are Isaac and Harriet. If you wish to correspond with Isaac Seely, his address is Wanship, Summit Co. Utah Territory.
