Dear Sister. -- I have received your letter stating your situation and feelings with regard to your husband,bro. John D. Lee. It is always grievous to me to hear of difference and quarreling among the Saints, who of all people on the earth ought to be the most united and harmonious.

This is especially to be deplored in families, which ought to be the Sanctuary of all that is gentle, loving and happy.

I have written to Bishop Willis on the subject, which I hope you will find satisfactory.
