Dear Sir:-

There are so many urgent calls on President Young for money to carry on the work on the R Road, & pay for supplies, & the men, that it gives him a good deal of extra trouble, and he would be pleased to learn from you if you have it in your power to let him have some funds.

There is a balance of perhaps over Thirty Thousand Dollars due on the November work besides all of December and January and the 20 per cent on all the job which is returned making in all a large sum and he would feel obliged if you could let him have an amount. We are now destitute of Exchange on New York & could take some more now.

Your kind reply to President Young will oblige.

Very Respectfully Yours
T.W. Ellerbeck
