President's Office,
20th Feb. 1869.

Mr. James Harwood,
Lehi,

Dear Bro.-

A short time ago I received from you a statement about certain tithing not having been placed to your credit.

Bishop Evans tells me that he has asked you time and again to have that tithing placed to your credit but you have refused to come.

He also says, that in consequence of having lost some of the accounts of the goods he got at your store, he cannot settle up without your books to refer to, but that, at any time, you will call and bring your books, he is prepared to make the settlement.

Yours in the Gospel,
Brigham Young
