Hon. Llelland Stanford,
Prest. C.P.R.R.

Dear Sir,

I have the honor to inform you that initiatory steps have been taken for the construction of a Branch Line of Rail road from Ogden to this City & that the work will commence forthwith.

I would be pleased to learn your views relative to your furnishing all, or a portion of, the Iron & Rolling Stock, & if favorable, upon what conditions you would wish to do so; whether as a loan to the Company, as Stock invested, or partly on both.

Awaiting your answer at your earliest convenience, which I will lose no time in submitting to the Board of Directors.

Yours with respect,

Brigham Young
