Gen'l. Supt. Construction U.P.R.R.
Echo.

Dear Sir:-

Your favor of 25th ult. was duly received, and the monthly estimates <for January> came to hand as stated. The February estimates have not yet been received, but trust they will not be delayed, and that the final estimates will prove satisfactory and be received as soon as possible, as I have done all in my power to forward the work to the interest of the Company under adverse circumstances; and I would be pleased to receive from you an expression of your acceptance of my completed contract from the head of Echo to the mouth of Weber.

On the 12th inst. I had the pleasure of seeing your track layers at work a bout seven miles beyond Ogden city and must congratulate you on such unprecedented success, and will say that if there is anything further in which I can be of service to the Company I shall be glad to avail myself of the opportunity.

Respectfully Yours,
Brigham Young
