As our funds are limited & it is impossible to bring out every one, you will see upon reflection that it is very necessary we should know something about families before sending for them. You should have stated the length of time you had been in the Church, your claims for assistance & accompanied your statement with references from some Elder with whom we are acquainted.

I think you had better write to Bro Carrington at Liverpool; he will act judiciously in the matter.
