Dear Brother,

Enclosed please find A.R. Whitehead's receipt for Tithing Cotton &c had by the Factory from your ward, which has been presented to me for payment. It is my desire in this, and in all other like transactions with the factory, that you instead of forwarding the vouchers for me to pay, make arrangements to receive from the factory, cotton yarn of equal value to the cotton and produce you pay to them. Cotton yarn thus received in exchange you should forward to the General Tithing Office in this city and from there obtain your credit.

Your Brother in the Gospel.
