President's Office,
March 17th 1869.

Mr. George Morris,

Dear Bro:-

I am pleased to hear of your progress with regard to Co-operation in Mercantile Business. We want all to have a chance if they feel so disposed, & we think that with the Shares at $25. each, nearly every man can become a member.

Those who have not that amount to spare, can club together & take a share, & let one of the number be the Shareholder.

I would strongly recommend you to have your Store in the Ward, & as near the centre thereof as convenient, & to get the business into active operation as soon as possible.

Wishing you success in the enterprise & praying God to bless you & all the Saints in every good work & to give us ability to do all the good our hearts desire for the building up of his Kingdom.

Yours in the Gospel.
Brigham Young
