Dear Bro:-

Your communication to me for advice has come to hand. I think it not at all unreasonable that Bro. Farr & West should wish you to postpone the charge against Bro. Ballantyne, while they are so busy with the Rail-road.

At the same time if you are suffering & Bro. Ballantyne acknowledges owing you anything, he ought to be willing to advance some means to assist you till the charge comes up.
