Dear Sir:-

I am called upon continually by parties who have finished their jobs on the Railroad under my contract, for final payment, and, whilst I do not wish to add to your many labors, I am compelled to ask that as soon as it can possibly be done I may be favored with a final estimate from the Head of Echo to the south of Weber, so that I may be able to finish up all the business connected with my Railroad contract in a satisfactory manner, which will oblige

Yours truly
Brigham Young

P.S.
Having received for several months past nothing but Exchange on my estimates, I wish to get the final estimate in Currency, and I would be much obliged if you would let me have $100.000.00 in currency on my January estimates which is yet due.
B.Y.
