Dear Brother:-

Your note to President Young of the 5th inst. with forty dollars currency enclosed, came to hand this morning.

Enclosed please find draft No 1621. on A. Carrington Esq. 42 Islington, Liverpool, England for Five Pounds, thirteen Shillings & seven pence Sterling. The draft is made payable to to the order of John Ward; it will therefore be necessary for him to sign his name under the endorsement I have written on the back of the draft, and then forward to the person to whom he wishes the money paid, which will be done on presentation of the draft.
