Dear Bro:-

Yours of the 24th inst. has been received.

On the 24th inst. I enclosed to you a Form of Divorce for Mary L. Rice which has doubtless reached you ere this.

I am sorry to hear of Bro. Geo D. Watt and his ravings, however, he will injure no one so much as himself. I trust for his own sake that this fit of craziness will prove only temporary. We have telegraphed to Bros. Watt and Rushton to cease preaching or officiating in the Priesthood in any way till they return home.

The weather here has been very favorable for farming operations but at present we are having quite a snow storm.

There is considerable sickness among the brethren, chiefly arising from colds, though I apprehend nothing serious. I have had an attack myself though I feel better now than I have felt.

I wish you would get Bro. Martineau to work hunting up the lines of the U.S. Survey in your valley with 20 miles of the railroad with a view to securing our lands. It will be necessary to start from some stake which can be read so as to be accurately described. This will require immediate attention.

Trusting this will find you in the enjoyment of health and peace.

I remain
Your brother in the Gospel
