Dear Sir:-
 

Your note to President Young of the 1st inst with twenty dollars enclosed came safely to hand this morning.

Enclosed please find draft No 1678 on A. Carrington Esqr. 42 Islington, Liverpool England, for Two Pounds seventeen Shillings and one penny Sterling, which is equivalent to twenty dollars Currency. We do not issue drafts for less than Three pounds Sterling or twentyone dollars currency, but have done so for this time to accomodate you.

The draft is drawn to your order; and it will be necessary for you to sign your name on the back, under the endorsement <which> I have written thereon. Then forward to your sons' address in England, on presentation of which he will receive the Money
