Your favor of 12th inst. to Prest. B. Young is referred to me for answer.

There is something deficient about the whole of this Acct. You say you paid for 1 lot by Livingston & Kinkead's Acct $50. Now those lots seem to have been $100. each, hence you did not pay for but 1/2 a lot & as it stands on the books the order that you did give for $50. on Livingston & Kinkead was refused to be paid: hence your title is not very clear on the books. I would like to straighten up this affair if it were possible to do so and also to give the deed if it can be made to appear right to do so.
