Dear Sister,

Your Note to Prest. Young of the 11th. inst. has been received, & as he has gone from home I have inquired into this matter & find that Bro. George Allen's Note is lying here as security for $300. for the Emigration of James (not William) Jenkins; but where William Jenkins is now I cannot tell.

I should like very much, for your sake & for the P.E. Fund to find out his whereabouts. If you should hear of it & will let us know, we will see what can be done.
