Dear Bro:

There is a Bro. Arnoldus living at Moroni, who it appears entrusted some means to Bro. Widerborg who died recently at Ogden, without having accounted for it, and in consequence of this, it seems that Bro Arnoldus is continually writing to Denmark deluging the Country with letters against the leaders of the Church in general & Widerborg in particular.

I would be pleased to have you see Bro Arnoldus, -- shew him the folly & wickedness of bringing into disrepute the leaders of the Church merely on Bro Widerborg's account. If he has any feelings against them his duty would be to let them know it, but to spread abroad scandalous misrepresentations against the authorities for a matter in which they had no concern will do good to no one, though it will be very apt to lead him into apostacy unless repented of.

No doubt he feels the loss of his money very keenly and I am sorry for him & would bear with him kindly, but his letters are injurious to the Mission in Denmark. & I therefore ask you to attend to this, & see if he is not willing to desist from this course.

Please send me the particulars soon as convenient. I have referred this matter to you as I am but little accquainted with the Bishop of Moroni & know that you will handle the matter wisely.

Your Brother in the Gospel.
