S.L. City,
May 1. 1869.

President B. Young
St George

F.D. Richards and bro. Peery made proposition to the Wholesale Co-operative of this city to turn over Thirtysix Thousand (36000) dollars goods mostly new, taking considerable stock. Lawrence and Jennings investigated the matter and it was concluded that Clawson and Jennings should go to Ogden and open wholesale store on Monday. The matter was urgent in order to open the district co-operative stores throughout that county, to keep the money now being paid by the Central from going into the Twenty three (23) stores now doing business in Ogden.

We had an interesting school.
Weather fine. Best regards

Geo. A. Smith
