Hon. S. Dillon,
Managing Director of the Union Pacific Railroad
New York City

Dear Sir:-

My grading on the U. P. R. R. has been completed and the cars have run over it for several months, yet I have not received the final estimate of my work in Weber, neither of that beyond Bear River.

There is a large amount, some three fourths of a Million Dollars yet due, and it becomes necessary that I receive my pay without further delay. Will you have the kindness to order it paid immediately.

Regretting the necessity of my having to call your attention to this matter,

I remain respectfully,

Brigham Young
