Dear Bro:-

Your letter to me of May 20. has been received.

I was very sorry to find that a feeling of unpleasantness had arisen in your mind, apparently in consequence of my staying at Bro. Black's. I called there merely to please them. I was perfectly satisfied with every arrangement made by yourself & friends for our entertainment & wish to assure you that you need give yourself no uneasiness whatever on the subject.

Praying God to bless you I remain
Your brother in the Gospel

Brigham Young.
