Ogden City.

Dear Bro:-- Yours of the 29th ult. has been received. I have been from home & hence the delay in answering your letter.

It would afford me great pleasure to be able to pay off all the sub-contractors, but I cannot do so until I get the money from the Railroad Company. When this will be I dont know, but we are using every means in our power to hurry them up with the final estimate and when that is completed we will look for the pay, and, as soon as it comes pay off the sub-contractors.
