Sharp & Young would not willfully defraud Mowery. Their delayed payment is likely due to the Union Pacific Railroad Co. not paying their debt.

Dear Bro:-

As Prest. Young has gone from home for a couple of weeks I thought I would drop you a line to say that your letter had been received at the Office but as the Prest. Joseph A. Young; & John Sharp are all home, any action on the matter will necessarily have to be deferred now.

As it appears to me, there must be some mistake -- some misunderstanding. do not think that Sharp & Young would wilfully defraud you or any man, although the failure of the U. P. Railroad Company to pay up, has caused a great many disappointments.

I think it probable that the brethren will have their attention called to your letter as soon as they return, and you will have justice done you.

Your brother in the Gospel
