Dear Sir:-

Yours of the 15th inst. has been received. The Prest. is from home on a tour through the Nth. Western part of our Territory, leaving me to attend to his correspondence.

We hold the title to the "Mormon reserve" but I do not know his views relative to the sale of it.

I will suggest, however, that your proposition in figures -- the value of the land -- would be perhaps the best way to obtain a decisive answer.
