Dear Sir,

Your favor of a five gallon cask of Wine has been received for which accept my thanks.

I have just returned from a tour through some of our Settlements, & only learned of its arrival.

We are producing a very fair article of Wine in Southern Utah, and it is manufactured from the Grape also, in this City, but not to any great extent.

Mr. H. B. Clawson is the Business manager of our largest Mercantile House, & if you wish to open communication here, I would refer you to that gentleman.
