Mr. Geo. W. Thurmond.

Dear Bro:-

Having just returned from a tour through the Nth. Eastern part of the Territory your letter only came to hand this morning.

We would like to have you return this fall. when your mother comes, and bring any of the Saints who may wish to emigrate form your district. It may be that they have joined Bro Boyle's Company, if not, I would advise you not to start before Septr; the main body of the emigrants will come through then, and the travelling will be much more pleasant & healthy.

Your Brother in the Gospel
Brigham Young
