Mr. E. T. Benson
Logan City,

Dear Bro:--
By letter from Mr. John Brennan, San Francisco, he complains that his brother sent him ten dollars, care Benson, Farr & West, by registered letter from Council Bluffs on April 6th for which the brother holds your receipt, but John says he has not received the money. How is this?

I am happy to be able to say that my health is good -- our trip to the North has been quite a rejuvenator. The weather is very warm-- crops looking well - no grasshoppers. I learn by Telegraph from
Fillmore that myriads of grasshoppers settled on their crops on the 7th -- they came from the South. All seems to be moving along well, and we have continued reason to feel grateful for the overruling
Providence of God in behalf of Israel.

I trust this will find you in the Enjoyment of health and peace and every necessary blessing.

Your brother in the Gospel
