Enclosed please find draft No. 1942 on A. Carrington Esq. 42 Islington Liverpool, England, for eight pounds, eleven shillings and five pence sterling (£8.11.5)

The draft is made payable to your order; it will therefor be necessary for you to sign your name under the endorsement which I have written on the back of the draft, then forward to the party in England your wish to receive the money which will be paid to them on presentation.
