Enclosed please find draft No 1951 on A. Carrington Esq. 42 Islington, Liverpool, England. for £17.2.2
Sterling.

As we invariably make our drafts payable to the order of the party who sends the money you will please see that it is properly endorsed by Richard D. Brown Jr. before sending it off. If you do not wish the party <to whom it is endorsed> to get the money until they are ready to emigrate, you can forward the draft to President Carrington with instructions to that effect. If you wish the money paid to Jno. McCullough, forward the draft to his address and the money will be paid to him on presentation. The cash for the above draft has handed to me this P. M. by A. Milton Musser viz $120.00 U. S. Currency.
