An article appeared in your paper a short time since respecting a Mrs Cook & her son, and certain property in Salt Lake City. A report also reached me that Mrs. Cook had made an affidavit to that effect.

Will you be kind enough to inform me whether you know of any such affidavit having been made by Mrs. Cooke, & if so what it contains?
