Dear Sir:-

Yours of the 9th inst. for information where you can procure the "Book of Mormon" & the price of it has been received.

It can be had at the "Deseret News Book Store" S. L. City, price $1.25, or you can have it sent to you by mail, from that House on receipt of $1.75.

It is proper for me to say that the "Book of Mormon" is not the Mormon Bible. The Bible used by the Latter-day-Saints is the Old & New Testaments. The "Book of Mormon" is a history of the Aboriginies of this Continent & the Latter-day-Saints believe it, because it is truth, as they would any other truth, or set of truths upon firm conviction.
