Dear Sir:-

Yours of the 12th inst has been received, with which was enclosed one Two dollar note of Salt Lake City Corporation Currency.

The note is perfectly good though it should not have been taken out of this Territory, being intended for circulation here.

I have changed the note for a U. S. Currency note of the same value as you solicited. Please acknowledge receipt
