Yours of the 25th ult. concerning a certain item of doctrine has been received.

You ask can a man be saved with but one wife? if he can, in what Kingdom?

I answer, a man can be saved in the Celestial Kingdom with no wife at all, and a woman with no husband, and of course, then, A man can be saved in the Celestial Kingdom with but one wife. I would be pleased to learn which of my discourses teaches you that Monogamy does not exist in the Celestial Kingdom
