Mr. Robert McCloy,
Ogden City.

Dear Bro:-

Yours of the 21st has been received. We would be pleased to assist you in the Immigration of your friends, but we have not the Funds to advance.

The understanding that credit on the U. C. R. R. would apply to immigrate persons this season is not correct. It was decided that credit on the U. C. R. R. might apply on back P. E. Fund indebtedness & also that payment would be made so soon as money is raised on the bonds, but when this will be we cannot say. The Company's Agent is now in the east preparing the bonds. & he reports favorably.
