Dear Bro:

I have just had my attention called to a Note made by you on the 18th day of April 1866. in favor of Ellen Tavner for Twenty Pounds Sterling for amount advanced by her for your Immigration.

Sister Tavner is suffering for means, & wishes at least a portion of this money for immediate use & the rest paid up as soon as possible.

This is a matter we wish you to attend to forthwith & let this aged sister have her just dues.
