Dear Bro:-

Yours of the 27th ult. has been received.

I would be much pleased to render you the assistance you need, but in consequence of not having had any settlement with the U.P.R.R. we are rather cramped at the present time.

We expect, however, that this will only be temporary, & sincerely trust that before long, the Company will settle up.

The Security I would require, would be the Mill Property at Springville.
