Dear Bro:-

Enclosed you will find List of Immigrants from the Holland Mission (coming in the next Company) sent on by Prest. M. Holling.

We wish you to meet with them on their arrival in Ogden -- treat them kindly -- see what you can do towards getting them comfortably situated & do everything in your power to make them feel at home.

There are strong apostate influences at work trying to overthrow the Holland & other European Missions -- and it becomes our duty to counteract these influences.

You will therefore consider it your duty to meet with those people -- preach to them & counsel with them. & may God bless you in & give you wisdom for this good work.

Your Brother in the Gospel

Brigham Young.
pr D. McKenzie, Secy.

P. S. The Prest. started for Provo this morning before signing this personally but the letter was written at his dictation.
