Your letter to B. H. Schettler of even date, with twenty dollars Currency is received, for which, please find enclosed draft No 9 on Wm C. Staines Esq. Box 3918 New York City, N. Y. for Nineteen & 50/100 dollars; the fifty cents being for expense of draft, postage &c.

As we invariably make our drafts payable to the order of the party who sends the money, you will please sign your name under the endorsement which I have written on the back of the draft before sending it off
