Dr. Bro.

On the license given to Bro. B. W. Driggs by Bp Hunter, to haul grain on shares, I understand thro, an oldish brother that either yourself or Bro Mayhew has given him the same privilege. We have no wheat to spare & cannot pay grain for hauling grain especially from your place which is so near at hand. In no instance pay one bushel of wheat on hauling unless directly authorized to do so by the Prest. or Bp. Hunter

Please apprise Bro Mayhew of this Respy &c
