Mr Joseph Horton,

Dear Brother:-

Enclosed please find draft No 5 on A. Carrington Esq., 42 Islington, Liverpool, England, for Five Pounds, fourteen shillings and three pence Sterling.

The money for said draft was paid into this office, in the first place, thirty dollars currency, was sent in letter by Bp Roskelly to Bp Maughan and by him forwarded here May 6th 1869 and the ten dollars was paid in by yourself during conference making forty dollars, which is equivalent to the enclosed Draft.

As we invariably make our drafts payable to the order of the party who sends the money; you will please sign your name under the endorsement which I have written on the back of the draft, then forward the same to the party's address in England.

Bro Schettler wishes me to say that he found the account immediately after you left the office, and hopes the above will prove satisfactory to you.

Very respectfully,
Your Bro. in the Gospel

James Jack, Clk
