Yours of the 10th ult. has been received. We were pleased to hear from you, and of your intention to gather with the Saints.

We are sending out a good many Elders this fall. some of whom intend to visit your section; you will thus have an excellent opportunity of learning the general news & receiving such counsel as you may need.

Your name has been handed to the Edr. "Deseret News." who will mail you a paper, & thus give you an opportunity of subscribing if you feel so disposed. Elder Orson Hyde informs me that your brother

Roswell Blood resides in Provo City, 50 miles south.
