Dear Sir:-

Yours of the 26th ult. has been received. I regret that your previous letter was not duly answered, but the fact it, so many of a similar character are received, that it would be strange indeed, if, in the press of business, some one were not overlooked.

Prest. Young is now absent on a tour through the southern portion of the Territory, and I will briefly say that some 200 Missionaries have been called to go to the States, this season, expressly to answer such questions as those you have presented; the majority have already sta(rted).

Any of our Elders, will take pleasure in answering your questions at length, & with much more satisfaction to you, than would be received from a letter. I will remark, however, that the same require<(ments)> are made of believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ to-day as in ancient days. The Gospel we preach is identical with that taught by the Saviour & his apostles as recorded in the New Testament.

I will hand your name & address to some one of the Missionaries, who will call on you & give you the desired information.

Yours with respect

D. McKenzie, Sec
Prest. B. Young
