Mr. John Clark,

Dear Bro:-

Sister Ann Holmberg informs me that Thomas Pierpont is indebted to her husband by written agreement to the amount of $650.00, & has not complied with the terms thereof, while she is really in need of means. I would like you, therefore, to give this matter your immediate attention. & see that this Sister has her rights, inasmuch as her husband is on a Mission & she must have her support. It is evidently a just debt & if so it ought to be paid.
