    This Certifies that Elder Robert T. Burton has been appointed to preside over the affairs of the Church through the United States of North America, and to act as General Agent for the sale of Pamphlets, Periodicals, Books &c. Also to receive and collect Tithing and all other donations of the Saints throughout his field of labour. And we request the Elders and Members of the Church where he is appointed to preside to give diligent heed to his counsels and to assist him in whatever things he may need to promote the interests of the Mission.

And we pray God, the Eternal Father to bless Elder Burton and all who receive him, and minister to his comfort with the blessings of heaven and earth for time and for all eternity, in the name of Jesus Christ.
